I actually did a ton of gaming today, got basically an early Christmas present. Played a bunch of games today though. The first was Kitsune Zero, which was honestly kind of a nothing game. I have a whopping 23 minutes in the game on Steam and I'm not sure I'm gonna bump that number up even with bonus worlds. It's basically a Super Mario Land-like, though the only really interesting thing about it is that it's, effectively, an official total-conversion mod for a political pro-Bernie Sanders game dating to the 2020 US Election. Kitsune Zero itself is free of US politics though (not a real screenshot).
The game I did most of my playing in today was Kitsune Tails, which was also the only real reason I played Kitsune Zero. KT is technically a sequel but the plot to KZ is next to nothing so it doesn't exactly matter much. KT itself is pretty fun. Some of the enemies feel a little questionable but besides the fucking ghosts nothing is really awful. I'm halfway through world 4 right now, which kind of feels like the part where the game "picks up" so to speak. The world has some really cool level concepts, if you'll pardon the pun.
The other "two" games were a random assortment of the games on the first Mega Man Legacy Collection and Blaster Master. For the former I mostly had fun but I think if I go back to these games I'm not gonna use the legacy collection. The rewind feature kind of breaks my brain and it just reduces the tolerance I have for mistakes to nothing. Blaster Master is good and fun, I only played a little bit so I don't have a ton to say but I have played it before and game is good.
